Note from Dr. Glassman- Some have had concerns regarding Peppermint Extract in this product. Rest assured that the peppermint is not at a concentration sufficient to cause any side effects (even if they drank the whole bottle- which we do not recommend). Peppermint related toxicity noted on line tends to be situations in which essential oils are poured directly on the coat and subsequently licked off by the patient. This results in a high level of peppermint oil ingestion. The level of peppermint in this product is very small and is only present to provide a nice smelling dog breath.
